IJ Start Canon imageCLASS LBP6230dw Drivers Download– The LBP6230DW provides the same paper processing capabilities as the Samsung M2825DW with a 250-sheet input tray, one-piece manual feeder and two-sided printing for automatic duplex print. This is enough for most personal or micro offices, but since Canon doesn’t offer an upgrade option, you may need to look elsewhere for more. For example, Brother HL-5450DN provides similar paper handling, but offers 50-piece, multi-purpose paper sources rather than a single sheet manual feed.

Mobile printing support is also somewhat limited. You can print from your Android and IOS phones and tablets, but you need to connect to the printer via a Wi-Fi access point on your network. This means that the printer must be connected to the network via Ethernet or Wi-Fi. Conversely, Samsung M2825DW allows you to connect directly to the printer, allowing you to print from a mobile device whether or not the printer is connected to a network.

Installation is a standard charge. The LBP6230DW is a size of 9.6 x 11.5 inches (HWD), which makes it easy to find a space of 16 lbs 11 ounces in one place. For testing, we used an Ethernet port to connect and installed the driver on a system running Windows Vista.

Speed and output quality
Canon sets the LBP6230DW to double-sided print 16ppm (page count per minute) (this is the default setting when installing drivers and 26ppm in single-sided printing mode). In my tests (using hardware and software from Qualitylogic), it was rapidly converted to 10.8 p m for double-sided printing and 13.2 p m for cross-sectional printing. The duplex printing speed is faster than the 9.9 p m of the Samsung printer managed for cross-sectional printing and is related to the cross-sectional printing speed of Brother hl-5450dn.

The output quality of the printer is not very impressive, but it is well suited for most business needs. The text quality is at the bottom of the range, which includes the majority of monochrome lasers. There is no special need for small font sizes, as long as the quality is high enough for most uses.

For monochrome lasers, graphics and photographic output are common. For graphics, it’s enough to fit your internal business needs. Most people will consider PowerPoint handouts enough. Photo quality is almost similar to a newspaper photo.

Check your Samsung m2825dw and Brother hl-5450dn to print enough pages in terms of operating costs. Consider how much you want to print and calculate the total cost of ownership when compared to the sum of the initial cost and operating costs. You should also consider whether your Brother printer requires better paper handling. However, if the operating costs are not an issue and no additional paper handling of the Brother printer is required, the Canon imageClass LBP6230DW provides fast printing with attractive printing capabilities. This combination can easily be the right choice.
